[D]The Andorian had beamed over from the station to the ship when the comm came and made her way over to the ships tactical hub and reported in before waiting for orders

[D] Heinrich had been released from the briefing room but he hadn't gone straightly here. He had gone to the workout room first, doing a little bit of what he used to do when he had time. Lifting. Before that he had put back his weaponry in the armory. As he walked in. His eyes darted at the Andorian in the room. "Ensign."

She hadn't been looking at him but because of the changes in the air from him walking in she knew he was there "Ensign." *She said with a small nod, she had never actually gotten his name. *

Heinrich went towards another seat, sitting down in it. He logged into the console at the station. He didn't talk. He just sat there.

"How are today?" She asked after letting the silence go for about thirty minutes, her attention still on her station.

"Acceptable." Heinrich said, not even looking at the andorian.

She nodded, realizing that she hadn't been paying attention to what she had said and made a very broken sentence "Sorry about that uh... sentence. I wasn't paying attention to what I was saying." She said in a slightly self conscious tone

[COMM] “Tactical. I request that you make yourself ready in the case of any betrayal by the borgs as well as prepare for the 8472. I have transmitted relavant information to you regarding their physical and mental capacities and their known weapons. Please familiarize yourself with them.”

"Its quite alright Ensign." Heinrich then heard a comm for the commander. Answering it. [COMM] "Tactical here Commander. Acknowledged. I have begun to read through the information you have sent us."

[COMM] “Keep me up to date on what happens down there. I want you to be checking the weapons and rotating their frequencies in the chance the Borg betray us. We are not getting caught off guard today.”

[D]Ughaz'udan had followed the Eventide since departure; now he sat idly twiddling his thumbs, awaiting the first sign of trouble.

[COMM] “Bridge to Tactical. Ensure that all shields and phasers are on a rotating frequency at all times. We are about to head in. Relay to me any issues you notice the instant they happen.”

[COMM] "Tactical here ma'am. It'll be done."

[COMM] “Understood.”

Heinrich had been thrashed around during the turbulence and or explosions. He was checking to make sure everything was alright in the hub.

She had left about five minutes after wordlessly, she had struck her head on her console and had her head in her hand as she left

Since everything seemed to be intact. He pressed his comm badge.

[COMM] “Steiger to Tactical, I’m returning your Ensign now.”

[COMM] "Thank you doctor."

A few minutes later the Andorian showed up again and took her terminal again wordlessly

She switched the comm to his personal. [COMM] “Do me a favor Ensign… be alive for dinner.”

Heinrich looked back at Avryshial. He didn't say a word. Switching to his own personal comms. [COMM] "I will endeavor to do so doctor."

The comms we’re silent for a second. Finally she spoke up. [COMM] “That’s all I needed to hear. Do us proud.”

She ignored the soft speaking, she felt annoyed that she had ended up going to sickbay and didn't want to have that brought up so the ensign talking to the doctor didn't even cross her mind

Heinrich turned as he ended his private comm, turning towards the Ensign. "I am glad you have returned from sickbay. I have secured the tactical hub, and the armory is secured as well. I have also reviewed some of the data the commander has sent us. I require your thoughts."

"Got it, what do you need ensign?" She asked as she stood and moved over to him so she could see what he needed her to review

"Well, I have a proposal to the captain. After reviewing the information regarding species 8472, it would seem that if they were to board and control areas such as Engineering, the tactical hub, and or the bridge. There should be an algorithm to start either a warp core breach or a self destruction of the ship." "Though if we can fight it would be interesting if they adapt to lead poisoning."

"I apologize but I have not read into species 8472... can you explain more about them?" She asked as she stood there, her antenna forward with interest

"From my knowledge they are a biological species. Quite intelligent, but according to the borg, quite ruthless and will not hesitate to kill. They are although telepathic to an extent I believe."

"I see... do we know anything else about them? What kind of temperatures and stuff that they do not like?" She asked with ill concealed interest, a challenge.. and an interesting one at that...

"The information provided does not specify."

"However, my guess of these creatures is that they can withstand almost anything."

"Probably, that cuts out just lowing or raising the temperature to a degree they can not withstand..." She muttered to herself, she turned inwards, mumbling in another language softly as her commbadge translated gibberish from it.

"If you plan on killing us in the process. I was trying to provide a more less painless death."

"I do wonder if they could withstand old earth chemicals. Choline, mustard gas, lead poisoning through lead bullets. Something that they would not expect."

"Why do you thing I said it was out of the question? besides, a little hotter for you will be fine, I grew up on an ice moon..." She asked in a hard tone "No... that would not work..." She mumbled to herself "I do not know about those ones, maybe, ballistics are hard to adapt to, even the borg can't adapt to them..." She said softly and more to herself then to him

"Ballistics? Are you referring to a nuclear missile?"

"I am referring to ballistic weapons, projectile launchers, swords."

She said with what could be passed off as a scoff

"Ah...I see..." Heinrich thought to himself for a second. "It would be interesting, if we hit them with something such as that and we included something such as gas, or posion, or perhaps microtechnology."

"Maybe, I do not believe we have any such weaponry on board, I am not familiar with the armory on this vessel." She said in a thoughtful tone

"Sadly we do not have ballistic weapons on board this vessel. That does not stop us from creating something with what we have. We do have engineers and scientists and or medical on board."

"True..." She said with a nod "What plans do you have so far?"

"Well my original thought was to release gas, but now...perhaps if we made some Ballistic weapons perhaps....we could face them head on. However, o believe their telepathy is also a problem. Therefore I am suggesting we put a a telepathic dampener throughout the ship."

"Wise choice, but that would probably effect the Vulcan and other telepathic species on board."

"They can live without their telepathic powers for a little. A small price to pay for saving their lives."

"What if it begins to negatively effect them? I am not the most familiar with telepathic species." She admitted, looking at the ensign

"Neither am I, but if it does they can report to sickbay and get taken care of."

"True. If you want to you can run it by the captain, they make the final decision."

"I am well aware of protocol. Sadly this not out in the field."

"I guess. I am just ready for this to be over. I had a call with my Thavan and Shreya planned for weeks now..."

"Your compatibility partners?"

"No, parents. I am... genetically incompatible..." She said with an edge of disapointment, she would be unable to help her species regrow back to its former numbers

"Ah...I see.." Heinrich went back to work without saying another word.

She nodded and walked back to the station she had been working at without another word.

Heinrich got up after comming the doctor, heading towards the lift.

[D] Heinrich had now made it back here to the tactical hub, sitting and waiting patiently. He then checked to see if tactical systems were online.

She was still at her console doing some basic simulations "What did the doctor say about it?" She asked over her shoulder

"It...was productive and it might work..." Heinrich smiled "Please go make sure all tactical gear is prepared."

"I did that already. I just finished about ten minutes ago." She said with a firm nod, turning in her seat and looking at him

"Excellent."

"It has occurred to me, I never got your name ensign." She said in a casual tone, her antenna moving forward some with interest

"Boheim, Heinrich."

"It is nice to meet you official then Heinrich." She said in a friendly tone, by the way she said it, is was clear that she thought 'Heinrich' was his first name.

Heinrich nodded. The ship still was under attack.

She returned to her duties
